Soul Centred Psychotherapy
at
The Kairos Centre

"One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious" C.G. Jung

The Kairos Centre was formed in 1992 to support the development of Soul Centred Psychotherapy TM.  The name Kairos is from the ancient Greek, meaning the necessary and appropriate timing of a happening: the soul's time rather than Kronos or linear clock time.

Soul Centred Psychotherapy is a therapeutic approach that developed organically from our experience and research as practising psychotherapists. Working in the field for the past 35 years, we have had the opportunity to train in a wide range of therapeutic forms, and have come to value both personal and archetypal or mythic approaches to working with psyche.

Our vision has been to sponsor the development of a Soul Centred therapeutic community. This has its basis in a comprehensive, in-depth training that draws from clinical practice and current research, with ongoing professional development and supervision for therapists.

Graduates of the professional training in Soul Centred Psychotherapy are eligible for membership of the Association of Soul Centred Psychotherapists Inc. (ASCP).

ASCP  is a constituent member Association of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia.
